So.......following on from my original question.
Is this something in different breeds or in different dogs?? Pig had no desire whats so ever to chase a ball, never really has BUT she does have a huge desire and passion about chasing Max to bite him on the ass

She will chase living things though.
So does that mean she is more clever and doesnt want to waste her time chasing something that isnt real???
