Took Jess over the park today , huge park with canal running through the middle, boating lakes etc i mainly walk her around the cricket oval and tennis courts which was where we was today...
I woman walked in the entrance with a collie OMG Jess runs straight over to it, it started to run so she barks at it , not growl tho..... I called her back and apologised to the lady , who was very nice ( so glad Jess didnt do anything else ) so i put her back on lead and walked for another 10 mins and let her off again , threw her ball on a rope and she does a lap of honour once she has got it and while doing this the bloody cow bag noticed the gate was open to the canal ... I called her back but she ignored me and headed straight for the canal, once on the canal verge I shouted NO , OMG I could have killed her she went straight in , straight back out , picked her ball up and came back to me happy as bloody larry
Ok with the bad weather she hasnt been swimming for a while , im being soft in my old age so i just picked the ball up and throw in opposite direction , she only picks it up and runs straight back to the canal , stops, looks at me , I shouted No so she looks down the canal path and there is a chap walking his yorkie cross , she only decides to go and see them , I cannot beleive my dog , I called her back as she came running to me , the other dog came chasing after her, straight past her and comes running to me all waggy tailed, he only jumps up my 11 month old Granddaughter who is in the pushchair , muddy paws all over her blanket , luckily she wasnt scared but he wouldnt give up from her I had to hold him with the collar while his owner came all the way frm the gate and across the green to collect him, all this time the dog was trying to get to Ruby, The man said , oh robbie you shouldnt jump up prams and walked off..........Jess is waiting with her ball about 15 ft away frm me , I called her over and i can see the devil in her bloody eyes , I demanded

she come , which she did , only for me to put her back onlead and take her home
Hopefully she will think twice about only having a 25 min walk today
